Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth

Because we finally got the internet back!
Yaaaaay~
Today, I am going to give everyone a brief review on a game recently released.

Persona Q: Shadow Of the Labyrinth.
Released on the Nintendo 3DS.
I got the limited edition version which is called "The Wild Cards" edition.
Courtesy of my Fiance, I got it a day earlier than it's supposed release! And for US residents, almost 5 days earlier! :D

Checking out the goodies~

The Limited edition of Persona Q comes with a 3DS XL case, 11 tarot cards, an artbook, the soundtrack and the game itself.

The art book is composed of character profiles from the game, along with the bosses, locations and the such.
The tarot cards I have not identified much yet but included in it is the Fool Arcana, The Star and The Moon.
Screw me but I have not listened to the soundtrack yet.
My 3DS is comfortably sleeping in the case and in the photo above, that's actually the wrong side. Hahaha.

So far, the game lets you choose 2 paths, if you want to follow the Persona 4 or Persona 3 route. I have played P3 so I took the P4 route instead which is set in their High school's festival, Yasogami High.

The gameplay is a bit confusing at first due it being somewhat like Etrian Odyssey, but what makes it unique is the fact that you have to mark your own map. That's right, no map, you have to mark it all down on your own which has been very tedious but also fun.

Forgive me but I am not used to taking much pictures but hopefully if I have the time, I'll make another much more detailed post, for now, enjoy a teaser~

Yu Narukami: Weilder of the Fool Arcana

Hi there!
I have been on such a hiatus and I have a major backlog of photos now.
Anyway, a few months back I attended an open photo shoot and I wore my Yu Narukami outfit, well, its not really Yu because I genderbent it to match my Fiance's Izanagi costume. The Persona 4 uniform was to be for a shoot when my fiance comes home but his trip was delayed so I used it for the shoot instead.

Warning: Picture heavy post. I got a bunch of raws from our photographer, Reymark Matabang, so yaaaay!
I'm rather happy that I was sent the raws because I never get much pictures and having the shots give me more options in case I want to do coscards!

Here goes~
Please, if you say or ask why on earth do I have glasses on, its because its part of the character and I'm thankful for that because I'm almost blind without glasses.

It isn't too much I guess... But I'm always so happy to have a shoot and improve! It helps both the cosplayer and the photog!

Future Plans, Cosplans!

Hello everyone~!
It's been a few months, weeks.. since I last made a post. Forgive me, but i've been very busy as of late.
Luck has permitted me to have some time to myself and make an update!

I've gone to a shoot a few weeks back and finally wore my Yu Narukami outfit! A separate post will be made for that coz I can't provide any photos right now. I'm using our desktop which has no current pictures whatsoever. D:

I'm also pretty much occupied playing with my 3DS, I was kinda hooked on Monster Hunter 3 and I still wear armor that's pink and looks like a stuffed bear. Seriously, it reminded me of Monokuma. That bear everyone is obsessing about from Danganronpa. Did I get that right?

I had a bunch of costumes made as well! I had Irisviel from fate/zero made a month back and I can't wait for my wig to arrive~ 

I also have another costume coming up, a blessing from a very generous shop and person. Stay tuned for updates! 

I have a lot more of things to blog about~ Its too many to type out so keep posted for a lot of posts!
(Does anyone even read this stuff..yada yada yada...XD)

Game Time: The Second Reproduction By Heterodoxy

OKAAAAAY!
As a still noob blogger I'm gonna try and make things slightly interesting by sharing my gaming experiences!

Let's start!
I recently started downloading a bunch of Visual Novels and I got extremely fond of playing The Second Reproduction created by Heterodoxy. Here's a shot of the main menu, don't worry! I won't spoil so much! I'll just put a few shots for teasers in case you guys get interested in playing the game!

What got me really interested was the CG and storyline, and that the art style resembles a little bit of Vampire Knight.

So.. There are basically Four main characters, you will be playing as Christina, the silver haired princess who also holds the title of Champion.

There are Three important men in the game, the choices you pick will lead to the man you wish for.

There's Gardis, the kind half-demon lord of Deathryde, though a demon, he is a very passionate ruler.

Lezette, the princess' loyal knight and best friend.

And!

Jin, the prime minister of Deathryde and Gardis' best friend.

People might find it a just another Visual Novel but what make it unique is that you can actually roam around the city grounds after a few specific scenes and the abundance in choice making.

"Holiday Night"

Those are the only times you can roam the city grounds, you have a limit of Four turns before your free time ends, the indications at the lower right are signs of how long you have been staying in Deathryde. In this shot, I have been around for 3 months in the First round.

If you go to the church, the priest will give you a hint on which path you are taking. It helps a lot if you're a bit of at a loss.

The game has Two rounds, but I won't tell you why.. Or else i'll be spoiling it.

I honestly suck at this stuff... *First time making a review for games*

Anyway, I am honestly more fond of the Gardis route, smexeh demon lord he is.. I am currently trying to achieve all Five endings to get a special event!

This game has a lot more choices than normal visual novels which makes it more exciting coz you have no idea what happens next~

Sweet Lolita

So!
So much negativity lately, I do not want to get readers through the means of complaints so lets add some sugar and sweets!

Last Sunday, my cosgroup, Kawaii Kazoku, held an event called JapFusion. I was assigned to model a sweet lolita dress owned by a newly met friend of mine, Jermaine.

Mind you, I had interests in lolita during my early months as a cosplayer but never had enough motivation to push through with wearing lolita themed clothes. I thought it wouldn't suit me because I am into portraying fierce and strong characters. Innocence was never really my thing but since I was given a chance to be a lolita for a day, why not take it?

I got pretty attached to the dress after a few hours wearing it. I also asked when I was handed the outfit

"Does it really come with the bunny?"

My fiance seems to like it as well and luckily its for sale. I do hope it lands up with me someday , though there was a slight wardrobe problem because I am a busty type... The rabbit just covers it.The blouse kept popping and it took us a while to properly cover up my chest.

Wig Review : Grand Young Asuna

Hi everyone!

Today we will discuss about wigs!

YES.WIGS.

This is my very first review so go easy on me.

We are going to make a review on...

I bought my wig from Kaleidascopic wig shop, do drop by and check them out!

They had me pick out which brand and color I wanted so I landed up choosing Asuna's wig color from Sword Art Online. I had the option of choosing Asuna's SAO hair color, Undine hair or her fairy queen version which came in as a light brown color.

Moving on!

The Pros of Grand Young:

~ Very thick fibers

~ Doesn't shed so much

~ Perfect in terms of wig color/shade

~ Character accurate

~ So soft!

~ Fibers cover the wig cap thingy well

~ Not shiny at all

~ Looks very good on photos. VERY.

It was so much fun to wear because the wig swooshed with the wind. XD

I am very fond of wind effects.

The Cons of Grand Young:

~ Styled wigs have frizzy tops.

~ Easily tangles.

~ Hassle to fix. (for me)

~ The bangs were too long so I had to cut them myself

~ It was kinda... Heavy.. lol.

~ I itched with the wig on. Hahaha..

The wig's front bangs were too long so I cut them myself.

If you're gonna wear the wig in a hot area..be prepared! Coz man, you're gonna get cooked in it!

I used this wig 2-3 events in a row and it was not so fun.

The wig tangles so easily with a swish and it took me ages to fix it for the following event which was going to happen the next day.

To sum it up:

~ Will I get this wig brand again?

   - Maybe, but I will aim for short wigs.

~ Price tag? XD

   - Fairly priced at 1,500php for a long and character specific wig.

~ Do you suggest getting this brand?

   - Yes I do. But I really do hate dealing with so much tangles, though I will get it again because of its thickness, color accuracy and the rest.

Black Carnival - A Cosplay Promenade

Hi there everyone! It's me again~
So today, I'm going to talk about the upcoming events in Baguio city!
On February 22, 2014 there will be a lovely cosplay promenade at the Crown Legacy Hotel hosted by the cosgroup Otageki. It will start at 4PM and continue on til night, which I very much look forward to! Here's the official poster for their event nyaa~

If you're around for a short vacation do drop by on the event coz I'll be there... Then again, I absolutely have no idea what to wear and my boyfriend forbids me to wear my yukata.. odd human he is, he says its obligatory for me to wear a gown!(Kinda weird for him to say that coz he won't be around to see me in whatever I'm going to wear)

Hi there everyone! Its me again!
So today, I'm going to talk about one of the events I look forward too upon my return to Baguio.

We were supposed to get this beautiful gown for the event and I absolutely fell in love with it!

Sadly, the gown is not in stock and takes 15+ days for it to be made, well.. That's fine.. Then I found out about this ridiculously long 3 week holiday the Chinese have and the gown wouldn't be made til after February 20! It made me quite sad I couldn't have the dress so now I have to look for a dress suitable for the event because no matter what I do my boyfriend WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT let me wear a thing from my own closet!

I have approximately a month before the event starts and I have to find something to wear! My oh my!

Other than that.. We're out of time already! We'll have a little talk again tomorrow okay? Ja!

Erii is new to blogs!

Hi there everyone!

My name is erii, and well.. I'm rather bad with introductions so how should I start out?

I'm gonna give this my best shot so here we go! Lets start over! I'm erii and I am currently 17 years old. I live in the summery capital of Philippines, Baguio city. Its rather cold there because we're near the clouds and surrounded by mountains, at least I don't need to use an aircon or fan anymore! I am an avid anime fan and cosplayer which is why I absolutely love to dress up! I like to draw as well but I am not that good, I like to doodle so you might see some little porings jumping around my new blog.

Other than drawing and cosplay, I am also a writer of many things, I have read many books since I was young and have been to many worlds, each story is an adventure and as a writer, I have many forms and souls.

My oh my, I sound too serious! ><

I guess I can say I'm a nice person, I like talking to people very much and listening to their stories... What else? Maybe that's all for now.. Just maybe.. be reminded that I am an absolutely lazy person.. Kinda.. Well, if I'm given a good motivation then I won't be so lazy!
